1. Agreement to terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and OlympAI, a sole-proprietorship business based in Gurugram, Haryana, India ("OlympAI," "we," "us," or "our").

By creating an account on, accessing, or using the OlympAI Platform — including the website at olympai.in and the learner application at learner.olympai.in (collectively, the "Platform") — you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you are accessing the Platform on behalf of a minor (a student), you, as the parent or guardian, agree to these Terms on that minor's behalf.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Platform.

2. Description of service

OlympAI is an AI-powered educational technology platform that provides:

• Adaptive, AI-generated practice questions for school-level Olympiad examinations
• Chapter notes, concept explanations, and common mistake analysis per question
• Spaced Repetition System (SRS) for targeted revision of weak topics
• Progress dashboards, mock tests, and weekly reports for students and parents
• AI chatbot assistance for individual questions

The Platform is currently available for students in Classes 6, 7, and 8 across India, covering Mathematics, Science, English, Hindi, and Social Studies Olympiads conducted by recognised bodies including SOF, SilverZone, Unified Council, CREST, EHF, and LogIQids.

OlympAI is a supplementary learning tool and does not replace school education, coaching classes, or professional tutoring.

3. Eligibility and account registration

3.1 Age and Parental Consent

The Platform is intended for students in Classes 6–8 (typically aged 11–14). As required by the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, a verifiable parent or guardian must provide consent before a student account is activated.

By registering an account for a student, the parent/guardian represents that they are at least 18 years of age and have full legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

3.2 Account Responsibility

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You must notify us immediately at support@olympai.in if you suspect unauthorised access.
• Each account is for a single student. Sharing accounts across multiple students is not permitted.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

3.3 Accurate Information

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep it updated. Providing false information, including falsifying a student's class or age to gain access to inappropriate content, may result in account termination.

4. Subscription plans and payment

4.1 Plan Overview

OlympAI offers the following plans:

• Free Plan: 20 practice questions per day on one subject. No payment required.
• Single Subject Plan: ₹499 per academic year (original price ₹999; Scholar's Advantage pricing applied). Unlimited questions and all AI features for one subject.
• 2-Subject Bundle Plan: ₹749 per academic year (original price ₹1,499; Scholar's Advantage pricing applied). Unlimited questions and all AI features for two subjects.
• All Subjects Bundle Plan: ₹1,249 per academic year (original price ₹2,499; Scholar's Advantage pricing applied). Unlimited questions and all AI features for all available subjects.

Paid plans are valid from the date of purchase through 31 March of the then-current academic year. Scholar's Advantage pricing is a time-limited promotional offer and may be withdrawn at any time. Existing paid subscriptions are not affected by future price changes.

4.2 Payment

Payments are processed securely through Razorpay. By completing a payment, you authorise OlympAI to charge the amount to your selected payment method. All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

4.3 Refund Policy

We offer a 7-day refund window from the date of purchase. To request a refund:

• Email support@olympai.in within 7 days of your purchase with your registered email address and order details.
• Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.

Refunds will not be granted:

• After 7 days from the purchase date
• If the account has been suspended or terminated for violation of these Terms
• For the Free plan (no payment is involved)

4.4 Renewals

Paid plans are for a fixed academic year term and do not auto-renew. At the end of the term, your account will automatically revert to the Free plan unless you purchase a new subscription.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Reproduce, copy, distribute, or commercially exploit any content from the Platform without our written permission
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access, extract, or download Platform content
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the Platform's AI models or software
• Upload or transmit malware, viruses, or any harmful code
• Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with any entity
• Use the Platform in any manner that violates applicable Indian law or these Terms
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts or our systems

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without prior notice.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform — including but not limited to practice questions, chapter notes, concept explanations, AI model outputs, graphics, logos, software, and the OlympAI brand — is the intellectual property of OlympAI and is protected under the Copyright Act, 1957 and other applicable Indian intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Platform solely for personal, non-commercial educational purposes. This licence does not permit you to sublicence, sell, or commercially exploit any Platform content.

7. AI-generated content disclaimer

Practice questions, explanations, and other content on OlympAI are generated or curated with the assistance of artificial intelligence. While we strive for high accuracy:

• AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors. We target and maintain 98%+ accuracy, but this is not guaranteed.
• Questions are designed for supplementary practice and should not be treated as the sole basis for exam preparation.
• You can report inaccurate content using the in-app report feature or by emailing support@olympai.in. We review and correct reports within 48 hours.

8. Third-party services

The Platform integrates third-party services including Firebase (Google LLC) for backend infrastructure, Google Analytics for usage analytics, and Razorpay for payment processing. Your use of these services is governed by their respective terms of service and privacy policies in addition to ours.

9. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. OlympAI does not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses.

OlympAI does not guarantee specific academic results. Learning outcomes depend on the individual student's effort, consistency, and external factors beyond our control.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, OlympAI and its proprietor shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, or loss of opportunity, arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

In any case, OlympAI's total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid to OlympAI in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless OlympAI and its proprietor, officers, agents, and representatives from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgements, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your violation of these Terms or your use of the Platform.

12. Termination

OlympAI reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice, for violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or conduct harmful to other users or OlympAI.

You may close your account at any time by emailing support@olympai.in. Upon closure, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Applicable refunds (within the 7-day window) will be processed.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including Sections 6, 9, 10, 11, 13, and 14 — shall survive termination of these Terms.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Gurugram, Haryana, India.

Before initiating formal legal proceedings, you agree to attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting us at contact@olympai.in. We will endeavour to address your concern within 15 business days.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where required, notify you by email at the address registered with your account. Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

16. Miscellaneous

• Entire agreement: These Terms and our Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and OlympAI regarding your use of the Platform.
• Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.
• Waiver: Our failure to enforce any provision shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
• Language: These Terms are written in English. In case of any conflict with a translated version, the English version shall prevail.
