When does registration close for SilverZone ABHO Class 6?

31 August 2026 — the same cutoff SilverZone publishes for all seventeen papers it runs, returned by the body's own exam-date endpoint as lastRegDate for every one of them. It sits on a schedule SilverZone itself heads "tentative", so treat it as the body's stated date rather than a guaranteed one. Registration is through your school only; there is no route for a parent to register a child directly with SilverZone.

Does ABHO have a Level 2?

SilverZone's ABHO page says nothing about a second level, so this page does not claim one either way. SilverZone does run second-level exams for other papers, on a published rule — ranks 4th to 1003rd across Classes 3 to 12 with a minimum of 50%, or a school first rank with at least 75% and 100 participants in that subject from the school. Whether ABHO takes part in that is not something the body publishes on this paper's page, and it is worth asking your coordinator rather than assuming from the other papers.

What does ABHO actually reward?

SilverZone publishes cash prizes at the national level for each class: ₹10,000 for first place, ₹7,500 for second and ₹5,000 for third, with a special achievement certificate for ranks 4 to 500. Class-level gold, silver and bronze medals go to the top three in a class provided they score above 50%. Every participant receives a certificate. Ranks are broken by a weightage system rather than by lot: SilverZone adds a tiny increasing weight to each question number on top of the raw score, so two children on the same marks are separated by which questions they got right.

My child studies in an English-medium school. Can they still sit ABHO?

Yes — ABHO is a Hindi-language paper, not a paper restricted to Hindi-medium schools, and it runs for Classes 1 to 10. What matters is the syllabus above rather than the medium of instruction: the paper is two-thirds grammar and word knowledge, so a child who speaks Hindi comfortably but has only studied it as a second language will find the व्याकरण section the part that needs real work, not the comprehension.

SilverZone publishes these under the heading "Tentative Examination Schedule for the year 2026-27" — they are the body's own dates, but SilverZone has not marked them final, so treat them as indicative until your school confirms which one it has picked. ABHO's third date, 17 December, is the latest of any SilverZone paper we cover.

Registration: SilverZone published one registration cutoff covering every paper it runs, ABHO included: 31 August 2026, on the same schedule it headed "Tentative Examination Schedule." It was the earliest deadline on this site, and it fell more than five weeks before the first exam date. Registration is through participating schools only, so that date bound your school rather than you. SilverZone has published nothing since about late entries or an extension. If your school hasn't registered, ask your coordinator whether it made this date, or write to info@silverzone.org to check whether a late registration is still possible.

The deadline is set by your school, not by you

Most parents find the exam date and assume they have until then. The registration window closes long before it, and for some papers it has already started closing. Here is how it actually works.

Your school registers your child and your school picks which of the 2–3 dates the class sits. The family does not choose.
For SOF papers, registrations must reach SOF exactly 30 days before that chosen date — and once the school has chosen, the date cannot be changed.
Most bodies register through the school. Four do not have to: CREST (online, no published cutoff), Unified Council — directly for NSTSE itself at ₹350 against ₹150 through a school, and on three online sittings, NSTSE-Online, UIMO-Online and UIEO-Online, at ₹354 each including GST — Indian Talent Olympiad on its individual online route (its own later dates — Slot 1 closes 30 October), and Humming Bird (online, ₹150 a subject, no published cutoff — its two dates are picked as you register). CREST is the simplest of the four.

Grammar alone is 15 of the 35 questions and 41.25 of the 100 marks — the single heaviest section in any paper on this site. Add the language-knowledge section and roughly two-thirds of the marks are grammar and word knowledge before your child reads a single passage. The Scholar's Zone is 5 questions at 3.5 marks each, a seventh of the questions for nearly a fifth of the marks, and SilverZone names no topics for it at all, so nobody can tell you what to revise for those. SilverZone publishes this paper's pages entirely in Hindi; the English half of each section name above is ours, added so the table is readable either way, and the Hindi is the body's own wording.

Read that table again, because the pattern in it is the finding. SilverZone names not one Malhar chapter for ABHO Class 6 — not a poem, not a prose piece, not a दोहा. Its published Class 6 syllabus is grammar, word knowledge and unseen passages from end to end: भाषा, स्वर, व्यंजन, वर्तनी सुधार, शब्दार्थ, शब्द भंडार, रिक्त स्थानों की पूर्ति, दैनिक जीवन में प्रयोग होने वाले शब्द and सम-विषम शब्द in the language section; सर्वनाम, क्रिया, सहायक क्रिया, लिंग, वचन, काल, विशेषण, विलोम शब्द, कारक, पर्यायवाची शब्द, उपसर्ग, प्रत्यय, संधि, अलंकार, समास and मुहावरे in the grammar section; and अपठित गद्यांश, अपठित पद्यांश, संबंध वाले शब्द, दो समान शब्दों में अंतर स्पष्ट करना and शब्दों का सही वाक्य प्रयोग करना in the reasoning section. So a child who has revised the Hindi textbook thoroughly has revised almost none of what this paper publishes — the textbook builds the language that the paper then tests abstractly, which is a real relationship but not the one "revise the book" implies. Where we stand on it, counted rather than asserted: the curator taxonomy sheet Grade6_Hindi carries 19 rows in its own olympiad-scope bucket (chapter 99, व्याकरण — ओलंपियाड), and 15 of the 16 items ABHO's grammar section names have a row there — सर्वनाम, क्रिया व काल, लिंग व वचन, विशेषण, कारक, पर्यायवाची व विलोम, उपसर्ग व प्रत्यय, संधि, समास, मुहावरे, and the rest. The sixteenth, सहायक क्रिया, sits inside our क्रिया व काल row rather than standing alone, which is our reading of it and not the body's. The language section maps almost as well: भाषा, बोली व लिपि, स्वर व व्यंजन, वर्तनी व वाक्य-शुद्धि and शब्द-विचार are all there. Two honest gaps, both in the reasoning section: our comprehension rows are anchored to Malhar's own chapters, so we practise गद्यांश and पद्यांश on passages a child has already read, and the sheet carries no row for अपठित passages as a skill in their own right; and it carries no row for संबंध वाले शब्द, the word-relationship items. That section is 7 questions and 19.25 marks, so it is worth working unseen passages from a separate source alongside. This is a gap in our coverage, not in the paper.

Frequently asked questions

SilverZone does not say, and we are not going to guess. Every other SilverZone paper we cover — iOM, iOS, iOEL, iSSO and iRAO — states on its own page that questions are objective type with no negative marking. The ABHO page states no such thing, in either language, and it is the only one of the six that does not. That is very likely an omission rather than a different rule, but "very likely" is not something to plan a child's exam strategy on. Ask your coordinator to check the instruction sheet that comes with the question papers before the exam.
